Christian in U.S. Public Schools
Do students have the right to practice and share their faith in U.S. public schools? Yes! Here are some of the things you as a student can do:
  1. Wear clothing or use pencils, notebooks, etc., with Christian messages (if your school allows clothes with messages on them).
  2. Pray before eating or before a test.
  3. Read the Bible during free reading times or breaks.
  4. Write reports, do art projects, and present show-and-tell items with religious themes.
  5. Express your religious beliefs in homework or class discussions.
  6. Talk about your faith, pray with others, and share literature outside of class time.
  7. Start a student-led Christian club.
  8. Be excused from school activities that go against your religious beliefs.
(Adapted from http://www.answersingenesis.org/docs/4076.asp) Unfortunately, not all public school teachers understand these rights. And Bible prophecy tells us that a time will come when those who follow God's Word will face persecution. Even today, many Christians around the world suffer for sharing their faith. That's why the message in this video is so important!
